Planning-grade, not a reserve statement. The model interpolates six accepted drill collars across a provisional reconstructed outline. Use it to compare areas and collect better data—not as a surveyed boundary, bankable reserve, or final mine design.
Historical pond mining · 30-acre pond historical glass-sand working
Company-reported: approximately 30 acres mined 25 ft for glass sand; All material other than glass sand reportedly left in place; quantity and grade unmeasured.. Status: management report pending validation.
Reported interval0–25 ft below pre-mining surface
25 × 25 × 1 ft block equivalents≈52,272 cell-layers
Nominal full-area prism≈1,210,000 yd³
Spatial assignmentPond polygon pending
Block-model treatment: the reported 0–25 ft history is recorded against this model baseline, but not deducted from tons or assigned to individual cells yet. The prism figure is only a 30-acre × 25-ft geometric envelope, not measured glass-sand production. Map the pond boundary and bathymetry before changing cell classifications; residual material is reported left in place and remains unquantified.

A 25 × 25 ft horizontal grid preserves one-foot vertical resolution at a manageable size. A literal 1 × 1 × 1 ft property-wide database would exceed 600 million rows; exact point queries still resolve a one-cubic-foot unit at any clicked location.

Boundary
The modeled outline is reconstructed from the production portal and is approximately 182 acres. The deed records 180.49 acres. Replace it with the 1994 survey geometry when received.
Drilling density
Six collars are far too sparse for a final reserve or excavation control model. Low-confidence classified blocks remain visible; positions with no logged-interval support are blank and excluded from totals.
Economics
97.9 lb/ft³, prices, and unit cost are editable planning assumptions. Product-bearing yield is classified from drill-log lithology; class proportions are based on distance-weighted collar sieve data. Commercial washing recovery is not established by current drill logs and is not applied.
