Surface elevations

USGS 3DEP bare-earth elevation samples tied to the six accepted drill collars.

Preliminary source check
What this adds. MineONE samples the public USGS 3DEP elevation service at each drill collar, records the source and resolution, and converts logged interval depths to estimated elevations in feet. USGS 3DEP samples returned 1-meter cells at these collar locations; the local tile’s vertical datum realization and accuracy report still need verification, so these are planning values rather than survey control.

Ground elevation at drill collars

Each elevation is sampled at the collar’s recorded latitude and longitude from the USGS 3DEP dynamic bare-earth DEM service. Values are shown in feet and meters; depths remain exactly as logged.

Drill-log intervals expressed as elevations

Top elevation = collar ground elevation − logged interval top depth. Base elevation = collar ground elevation − logged interval bottom depth. Original log depths and classifications are unchanged.

Connect the property surface to the one-foot model

MineONE samples the DEM at every block-model plan-cell centroid, converts meters to feet, and rebuilds the same drill-log model using absolute elevation bands. Each block then carries its top and bottom elevation, classification, product split, tonnage, value, and confidence on one shared spatial run.

This takes the current model parameters forward and leaves the current complete run active until the rebuild finishes.

Bare-earth topography is not submerged pond-floor bathymetry; verify source-tile datum realization and vertical accuracy before survey-grade use.

USGS source: 3DEP bare-earth DEM dynamic service. Its bare-earth surface does not supply pond-floor bathymetry. Bathymetry/sonar will be needed before treating submerged blocks as dredge-ready elevations.
